You can't have cowboys without cows. New Holstein painting by Denise Rich
I did start my focus on cows, and although I've broadened to include western and rodeo paintings I have not forgotten them! Here is a view I see often when photographing dairy cows for painting reference, the extreme close up of the super curious one in the bunch.

I have just stumbled across your blog and love this piece. I have a cow blog myself and hope you do not mind if I feature this painting upon it as a recommended piece of artwork.
